In 1987, the story of EVK began with Peter Kerschhaggl, an Austrian driven by an innovative spirit and the vision to create something new. With his revolutionary technologies he was always one step ahead of his time and now in 2022 we, the team of EVK, have every reason to celebrate: for 35 years we have been developing sensors and data analytics for industrial sorting and monitoring, and for 35 years we have been enriching the market and especially our customers with innovative solutions.

With our hyperspectral cameras, data analysis and services, we were one of the first suppliers worldwide to make hyperspectral technology available to the food, recycling, mining, and wood industry. This ground breaking technology is a non-contact and non-destructive method to detect and classify objects based on their chemical composition. Through our close cooperations with our partners, we understand our customer`s needs, which enables us to specifically develop unique products and services which help them to stay ahead of competition.

Another important success factor are our committed and motivated employees. In 2022, not only EVK celebrates its 35th anniversary, but also one of our most consistent employees celebrates his jubilee and talks about his 35 years at EVK in an interview. 35 Years at EVK.

We look back on a successful history and are optimistic about the future, because with our new technologies that contribute to optimising industrial production lines, we support our customers in using valuable raw materials more efficiently and ensure product safety.
